Greendale Day nursery has been established for 11years and joined the Cleardaynurseries group in June 2007. The nursery consists of three buildings – 0-2 year olds, 2-5 year olds and after-school children. The nursery hosts a large garden and lots of adventure for all ages with a separate soft play area for our younger children who are just beginning to venture outdoors. Inside we have a large sports hall which can be used by all age groups who enjoy everything from drama to indoor games. Every day in Greendale nursery is fun filled and exciting with many different activities organised for each age group. The baby unit enjoys weekly visit from Jo Jingles and staff and Children alike enjoy practicing Tiny Talk which encourages language development and communication through baby sign language. Pre-school children have a stimulating and busy day while enjoying many activities such as Leaps and Bounds, Monkeynastics and Jo Jingles and Spanish lessons. The pre-school children also enjoy a monthly outing which relates to their monthly topic. Trips include W5, the Zoo, Farm and library not mention the annual visit to Santa and summer trip to the beach. Montessori has been introduced to our pre-school in September 2010.
